Page Tags: An accurate method for measuring web traffic that relies on cookies and JavaScript. JavaScript is used to determine the exact pages the user is viewing, while cookies determine the uniqueness of the user. Traffic data is collected directly from the end user, not the server. The problem with page tags is that if the user has JavaScript or cookies disabled, data cannot be properly collected.
